Renderoc Plug Rapid Setting Plugging Mortar is supplied as a ready to use blend  of  dry powders which requires only the  addition of clean water atsite to produce a highly consistent, rapid setting mortar whichis easy to apply in many difficult conditions. The material is based on a blend of cements, graded aggregates, special fillers and chemical additives which control the rate of set and minimise the risk of thermal cracking.


Uses:
For the rapid temporary patching and plugging of concrete segments, concrete and brick tunnel linings, sewage systems, below ground access chambers, pipes, basements, foundations and mines.

Renderoc HS Xtra is a Dual Shrinkage expansion, fibre reinforced, single component, polymer modified, cementitious, repair mortar system supplied as a ready to use blend of dry powders, which requires only the addition of clean water to produce a highly consistent, repair mortar suitable for struc-tural concrete and masonry repairs.  Renderoc HS Xtra may be hand & trowel applied, please see application method statement for details.

Uses:Renderoc HS Xtra is suitable for hand and trowel application for repairs where high load bearing is required.  Typical ap-plications would include, but not be limited to, the following: 

• Vertical and overhead repairs to restore ‘covercrete’
• General concrete and masonry repairs
• Voids greater than 10 mm deep
• Repairs to honeycombing
• Larger scale repairs where formwork cannot be erected.

Renderoc RG is supplied as a ready       to use blend of dry pow-ders which requires only the  site addition of clean water to produce a free-flowing non-shrink repair micro concrete The material is based on Portland cements, graded aggregates and fillers, and additives which impart controlled expansion characteristics in the plastic state, while minimising water demand. The low water requirement ensures high early strength and long-term  durability. For larger repairs, the mixed Renderoc RG may be modified by the addition of 5mm to 12mm clean, graded, saturated surface dry aggregates at site.  For exceptionally large repairs, the local Fosroc office shall  be consulted.

Uses:
Renderoc RG is used for repairs to damaged reinforced con-crete  elements, particularly where access is restricted and where vibration of the placed material is difficult or impossible.  It is suitable for various structural strengthening measures such as encasement build-ups, jacketing, pile top encapsulation resin system, etc

Renderoc RG(L)  is supplied as a ready to use blend of drypowder, which requires only the site addition of clean water to produce  a  free-flowing, non-shrink microconcrete.    Thematerial is based on Portland cements, and fillers, and additives which impart controlled expansion characteristics in the plastic state, while minimising water demand. The low water requirement ensures high early strength and long term durability. For larger repairs, Renderoc RG(L) may be modified by the addition of 5mm to 12mm  clean, graded saturated surface dry aggregates at site. For exceptionally large  repairs, the local Fosroc office should be consulted.

Uses:

• For economical repairs to damaged reinforced concrete elements, particularly where access is restricted and where vibration of the placed material is difficult or impossible.

Brushbond comprises a two component acrylic polymermodified cementitious   coating supplied in ready to mix kits.Brushbond can be simply applied by stiff brush, roller, sprayor trowel to obtain the desired texture.
Uses:To protect atmospherically exposed reinforced concretestructures from attack by acid gases, chloride ions, oxygenand water. The product is also suitable to protect othercementitious substrates and masonry for new and existingstructures. Typical applications include :

• Re-facing and reprofiling concrete & masonry surfaces.
• Flexible coating to bridge shrinkage cracks.
• Waterproof coating for water tanks and reservoirs.
• Robust coating which can withstand pedestrian traffic.
• Backing to marble and granite, preventing water ingress

and alleviate staining.

Uses:

• Fosroc Renderoc FC Polymer Modified Fairing Mortar is designed for application in thin layers to produce a fair-faced appearance to concrete surfaces or masonry surfaces in readiness to receive a protective/ decorative coating.
• Surface imperfections up to 3mm in depth can be filled with the scrape coat application. Voids of greater depth should be separately filled as a prior operation, again limiting the Renderoc FC material thickness to 3mm.
• Renderoc FC can be used independently to infill surface imperfections and voids or to render large sections of concrete or masonry at up to 3mm thickness. It can also be used in association with other Renderoc mortars. Under normal conditions, the product does not require an independent primer or curing membrane.

Description:

• Renderoc FC cementitious fairing coat is supplied as a ready to use blend of dry powders which requires only the site addition of clean water to produce a highly consistent cementitious fairing mortar. The material is based on a blend of cements, graded aggregates, special fillers and chemical additives to provide a material with good handling characteristics, while minimising water demand. The product exhibits excellent thermal compatibility with concrete and is fully compatible with other Renderoc mortars and Dekguard coatings.

Design Criteria:

• Renderoc FC cementitious fairing coat is designed for vertical and overhead use to infill blow holes, honeycombing and voids up to 3mm deep in the surface of concrete.

Specification Clause:
Fairing Coat:

• The fairing coat shall be Renderoc FC, a single-component polymer modified cement-based blend of powders to which only the site addition of clean water shall be permitted. The material shall be capable of use without independent priming and curing systems.

Applications Instructions
Preparation:

• Clean the surface and remove any dust, unsound material, plaster, oil, paint, grease, corrosion deposits or algae. Roughen the surface to remove any laitance and expose the fine aggregate by light scabbling or grit-blasting.
• Oil and grease deposits should be removed by steam cleaning, detergent scrubbing or the use of a proprietary degreaser. The effectiveness of decontamination should then be assessed by a pull-off test.
• Renderoc repair mortars require no additional preparation prior to the application of Renderoc FC.
• No independent priming system is required.
• The cleaned areas should be blown clean with oil-free compressed air before continuing.
• All prepared areas should be thoroughly soaked with clean water immediately prior to the application of Renderoc FC. Any residual surface water should be removed prior to commencement. Care should be taken and the work scheduled to ensure the water does not run onto areas of recently applied Renderoc FC less than 12 hours old. Under severe drying conditions repeated soaking may be necessary to ensure the substrate is still saturated at the time of application.

Renderoc S2 is supplied along with   a liquid polymer and has to be mixed with water on site to produce a highly consistent, high strength repair mortar. The material is based on carefully blended cement, graded fillers and chemical additives and is polymer modified to provide a mortar with good handling characteristics, while minimising water demand. The hardened product exhibits excellent thermal compatibility with concrete and outstanding water requirement ensures fast strength gain and long-term durability.

• Extremely low permeability provides maximum protection against carbon dioxide and chlorides

Renderoc CS is a crack sealing cementitious material in powder form. It is easy to apply and can be finished or smoothened off with a putty blade or a damp sponge. It sets quickly on application and can be over coated with common paints/ coatings.

Uses:Renderoc CS  is used for sealing cracks on plaster, masonryand  concrete   substrates.

Patchroc is supplied as a pre-blended dry powder to which water is added to produce an easily trowellable mortar. Patchroc is a blend of inorganic cements, additives to modify and control the rate of setting and strength gain, with selected hard wearing aggregates. Patchroc does not contain calcium chloride.
